Jay-Z heeft zich de woede van de Occupy-beweging op de hals gehaald. Zijn kledinglabel Rocawear verkocht T-shirts met de opdruk 'Occupy All Streets', waarin ook de rapper afgelopen week werd gespot. Vanwege behoorlijke ophef zijn de kledingstukken uit de collectie gehaald.

Dit schrijft entertainmentsite TMZ. Jay-Z had de shirts laten maken ter steunbetuiging aan de wereldwijde groep demonstranten.Toen echter duidelijk werd dat de rapper de opbrengst van de verkoop in eigen zak stak, ontstond ophef.

Een initiatiefnemer van de protestbeweging Occupy Wall Street steekt zijn mening niet onder stoelen of banken: "Jay-Z, hoe getalenteerd ook, heeft het politieke gevoel van een rat en is een zak", reageerde hij.

Jay-Z has made the Occupy-movement angry. His clothing-line Rocawear has sold t-shirts with the print "Occupy all streets", in which the rapper has been spotted this week. Because of considerable stir the shirts were taken from the collection.

This was written by entertainment-site TMZ. Jay-Z had the shirts made to endorse the world-wide group of protestors. When the Occupy movement found out that Jay-Z kept all of the profits Occupy got a little angry.

One of the founders of the protest-movement Occupy Wall Street is very clear on his thoughts: "Jay-Z, however talented, has the political feeling of a rat in a bag", he said.
