The Israeli spy agency Mossad is trying to cover its tracks as the real perpetrator of the September 11, 2001, terror attacks by hyping a congressional report that may implicate Saudi Arabia, says an American author and sociopolitical psychologist.
Walt Peretto made the remarks in an interview with Press TV on Thursday while discussing the media frenzy over Saudi Arabia’s role amid revelations by a former member of the 9/11 Commission.
John Lehman, who served as the US Navy Secretary in the Ronald Reagan administration, said in an interview on Wednesday that the Saudi monarchy provided support to the 19 hijackers who carried out the terrorist attacks.
“This shows that 15 years after the crime, those responsible and their well-paid lackeys are still in the process of covering up and diverting attention from the evidence that proves beyond the reasonable doubt that 9/11 was a transnational intelligence agency operation on behalf of the international banking and finance community and their puppets in the American government,” Peretto said.
The analyst said Israel's Mossad, and Western intelligence agencies were the key planners of the deadly attacks that killed some 3,000 Americans.
“How many Saudis were arrested or detained on 9/11? None,” he said, adding “how many Mossad agents were arrested or detained on 9/11 by local law enforcement who had no knowledge of participation in this crime? Dozens!”
Referring to various objective studies by independent researchers, the commentator said mounting evidence shows that the destruction of the Twin Towers in New York City was a controlled operation.
Peretto then pointed to 9/11's questionable coverage in the Western media, who “falsely” blame Muslims for the attacks while allow the real criminals go unnoticed.
“Let's discuss the psychology of those people mesmerized by the mainstream media into believing their constant stream of lies. Let's discuss the psychology behind the perpetrators...the psychopathologies.
Let's discuss how much empathy, guilt, and remorse one must innately lack to plan and execute an operation like 9/11 and then use their controlled media to falsely blame the crime on fanatical Muslims,” he said.
“If people keep their frightened or unconcerned heads in the ground much longer then we are going to see more 9/11s at home while in some parts of the world like Syria and Gaza, 9/11 is something that could occur at any time of the day or night,” Peretto added.
Concluding his remarks the sociopolitical psychologist said the world needs to ignore the diversions and focus on the true planners, who “ultimately caused the suffering of a million [people] both on 9/11 and in the following wars of invasion and resource extraction.”
